97 sun fire

I have a 96 sun fire gt. Iam haveing an issue it seems that when the car gets hot but does not over heat it shuts the car off. It will not shut off until it totaly cools off. I can not tell if it is this or it is when i hit a big bump it seems to happen at the same time so i cant tell what actually causes the issue. Any help would br great.

so let it sit at idle till it gets hot and see if it shuts off. Does it show a Check Engine Light when you try to restart? Try a fuel pressure test when it shuts down.
