97 sunfire tapping from motor

This is my other sunfire i just sold to my g/f. Its a 97 2.2l auto. It has a strange tapping rattle noise from the front of the motor. It doesnt do it when cold only when warmed up. If you rev the motor it goes away too.

Any help is appreciated.

how many miles on the car? could be timing chain

It has 140000 on it. I was thinking that too i heard the tensioners are notorious for going out.

you could try a heaver weight oil as a temporary solution
