It started in the spring..My car at times will have the tendency to take off on me...plus I will take my foot off the gas and my car will not slow down..it maintains the speed I was doing..has a new computor and all new spark plugs and brand new wire harness...just wandering what could be causing this to happen

Throttle Control Sensor

I have the exact location of your problem. I just had this happen to me. I had my car put on a diognostic and it told me the throttle control sensor was faulty. The piece is roughly $40-$50. Really easy fix. Just youtube pontiac throttle control sensor. Now my cars runs great.

How easy was it to change out your spark plugs? I have the same type of car as you. Wondering if I can do it myself?
