I have a 98 grand am that is stuck in park. The car starts and runs fine. the ets light on the dash is blinking. nothing else seems out of the ordinary.

if that model requires your foot on the brake to disengage the park position you appear to have a problem with the brake switch or the locking mechanism for the shifter
