98 sunfire overheating?

i recently acquired a 98 sunfire. for some reason the car is over heating. i replaced the thermostat and water pump, still over heats. if i drive on highways it will maintain temperature unless i turn on the AC, then it starts getting hot and over heats as soon as i slow down. it overheats through town as well. i am new here and have searched all over and could not find an answer. the cooling fan will kick in. and the car always tells me the coolant level is low even though its topped off

have you pressure tested the cooling system? have you had the coolant tested for hydrocarbons? Did you bleed the air out of the system after changing the thermostat and pump?

i bleed the air out of the system after changing the thermostat and pump, flushed the radiator out as well. havent pressure tested the cooling system or had my coolant tested.
