99 Grand Am SE Radio Problems

The radio screen in my car doesn't work. It is a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am SE and I bought it from a family friend but when I got it the clock didn't work and it still doesnt. it has occasionally flashed on but is out now. I checked the fuses and now dont know what to do. Any suggestions?

There is a good chance the bulb is burnt out which requires removal of the radio and a new bulb would have to be soldered in.
