Hi everyone.
Was surfing the internet as usual and came across this site and had a flashback of the nightmare known as my 99 Pontiac gt-1. I bought it with 48k miles from a dealer here in the south land and did not even get 2 exits away from them when the first break down happened. Since then i have gained a ton of experience with troubleshooting and fixing it. I figured if i could save someone from having a complete conniption fit out by salton sea in the middle of the summer at 11:30 pm with nothing around but flies flying around in 95 degree weather less then 3 weeks after paying 10k cash for the car then i figured it would be a good thing.
B.t.w....the car has ran great for the last 2.5 years now since i got it to pass smog (from me troubleshooting it and repairing it myself) and seems like it will still be around for another 30k or 40k miles or so. Currently have 162k miles on it. literally almost every single moving part under the hood has been replaced at one time or another since i owned it except for the transmission. (looking for wood to knock on as the transmission has performed like a champ flawlessly).
So anyways....if anyone looking for advice on gm 3.1-3.4 liter engines from 1999 to about 2004. i have alot to give. =)
