So when the car has been sitting for awhile lets say an hour or more the car takes awhile to start. It cranks and cranks than turns over after a few seconds. If the engine has been running within an hour or so than it starts right away. I tried starting it after i let it go through diagnostics and still gives me the same problem.
Changed the spark plugs and battery is new so far.

I kind of ruled out the crank sensor because im not idling as far as i can tell and running conditions are perfect.

- Fuel injector?
- Fuel regulator?
Any opinions ?

does it start right away when cold/overnight?

The only time it starts right away is if it had been running recently. The engines temperature is stable. The problem occurs anytime the car has been sitting for more than an hour lets say. Cold conditions seem to make starting worse. I tried putting it in the ACC position letting it go through diagnostics and than starting it doesn't seem to help.

Check the fuel pressure. let the car run, then shut it off and watch the gauge. If the gauge drops off quickly, could be a leaky injector. When you try and start it, hold the gas pedal to the floor and see if it starts quicker.
