I have a 2006 torrent that i need to get inspected for registration. However, I have a check engine light on. The code I get is P0480 for the "Radiator Fan Control". Here's my query; We hit a deer a while back and the AC lines are messed up. Could this be why I'm getting the code, since both fans are working? How can i disconnect the AC so that it doesn't send codes to the main computer? is this possible? Thanks.
Any help is appreciated.

Please provide the exact code you are getting Pxxxx

that code is thrown by a number of causes as listed in the link. If the lines broke open and the A/C pressure sensor detects it that may be the cause. Depending on how the sensor is wired you maybe able to indicate pressure but first you have to determine what the cause is for the code.

AC Fan

I just replaced the Radiator fans assembly, and the AC Condenser. The radiator fan turns on but not the A/C fan. The wires were cut, so I was wondering if anyone would know what wire goes where? The car has Blue and White wires but, the new fan has Yellow and Black. Thanks.

Notice the direction that the radiator fan turns.
Apply power directly to one of the the new fans wires and ground the other wire. If the fan turns the wrong direction reverse the wires.
Using a test light or volt meter check which of the two wires in the car harness is power. Wire the harness the same way you did when testing with power direct to the fan.
