My 97 sunfire 2.4L was sitting for about 3 years until I rebuilt the engine. Now that it's hot outside, I think it's time to charge the A/C system. Before I get started though I was wondering what the best way to drain the oil from the compressor is? Is there a way to check the level also? I know it needs
9oz of PAG150. But how would I know when it's full? And do I just poor it in one of the ports for the hoses? Thanks for any advice.

well what I can say is my buddy(hvac tech)just evacs the system and then adds refrigerant according to the systems capacity usually on the sticker under the hood ,from what I remember him saying is even when you evac the system enough oil remains in the system hope that helps.
