A/C compressor question

Can I jump the AC relay to kick on the compressor to recharge it?

I have a 1997 grand am SE

I'm putting a new compressor on it tomorrow. thanks

If I can what terminals do I connect the jumper to?
 
If you are going to replace the compressor you need to evacuate the system before charging.
