I have a 1999 pontiac sunfire and my ac doesnt work. i had a pressure test done and was told there was a leak, so i put leak detector in and never found the dye. So i was lookin at the high pressure valve and saw that there is a sensor next to it. the wires have fallin next to the belt and been roughed up. the wires have been cut bare but dont look that bad. If they shorted out could that cause my ac to not work. I am a mechanic in my garage so no stupid replys please. any help would be appreciated. its hot in florida and i need ac.
