My wiring was cut at the back of the ac compressor, I have a green and a black wire to the clutch plug, and a green/white stripe going to I assume the high pressure switch (a single pole connector) and a black that was cut that I think should have gone to the low pressure switch but the low pressure switches I see are all two wire. Am I missing a wire or do I have to hook up only one wire?

I forgot to mention, 87 gt stock 2.8 v6

You can try searching for a wiring diagram or get a copy of the 87 factory shop manual

Tried searching and I have the factory service manual, neither go into any depth and don't match the color wiring I have. I was hoping someone had some first hand experience with the wiring of the compressor. the problem is I have one wire to feed a two terminal plug.

Is the wire showing 12V?
Typically one terminal would be the 12V connection and the other ground.
You dont see the compressor in the wiring diagram?
This is definitely the factory manual, not Hanes, Chilton, etc.?

The first diagram in this link shows two wires going to the compressor. A dark green coming from the firewall and a black going to the high pressure switch.

Yes, I see that in the service manual, but the compressor has a two wire connection and the repair plug I bought from there fiero store had two connections but there is only one black wire, which plug would that go to and there other is left not used?

Unfortunately the engine and harness is out of the vehicle so I can't really test voltage, I was hoping to hook this up before reinstalling the engine.

Did you try contacting the Fiero store with your question about their plug? The diagram shows a diode, could that be what connects to the plug?

No but maybe I'll do that. The plug with the diode is good that's for the clutch.
