There is a dot on the car stereo screen on the left side when the cd is playing. Sometimes, not always, when the cd is been ejected. If an other dvd is put in the player before the radio beeps and the dot goes away the stereo goes nuts and it keeps trying to load and eject the cd when there is no cd in the player. The radio still plays fine. The only way that I found to clear this error in the cd player is to pull the power plug from the back of the stereo. That is a pain to pull the panel apart. There must be some kind of combo of pushing the buttons on the stereo to do a hard reset. My only other option is, is to mount a reset button in the panel whitch will kill the power to the stereo while the button is pushed. If there is a hard reset for the stereo by pushing a combo of buttons. Could someone please tell me what it is. I rather not have to put a push button in the dash.

A PS. The cd player in the radio will reset it self after about an hour or 2 of been turned off and the key and motor been off.

I don't have an owners manual. The cycle sometimes doesn't complete on it's owen. The radio beeps but the dot stays on the screen after pulling the cd out. Even with the cd out the deck tries to load a cd when there is no cd in it.. The only way that I have found so far to clear the error is to pull the power plug from the back of the stereo for about 15 minutes, in essence doing a hard reset like on a cell phone. Is there a combo of keys to push to do a hard reset without pulling the power plug, pulling the radio fuse or putting a hard reset button on the power line to the radio. Before I go and drill a hole in the dash for the hard reset button. Is there an other answer? By the way this Torrent was sitting in a dusty and dirty lot for 2 months before I baught it.

did you read the audio section of the owners manual. The beep is part of the ejection cycle and it sounds like you are not letting the cycle complete.

the link I provided you above is the owners manual. Download it to your computer. Not aware of any reset. Have you tried a reset by pulling the power fuse?

Yes I have pulled the radio fuse and let it sit for a few hours and it will reset it self. Instead of having to pull the radio fuse or unplugging the power plug from the back of the radio. I am thinking of mounting a on/off switch in the dash, cut the power line to the radio and put the switch inline on the power line. It will make life better then pulling the radio fuse or the power plug from the back of the radio.
