This is on a 2008 Pontiac Torrent. About 2 weeks ago someone was pulling out of a street parking spot and put a medium size dent in my right front fender, just behind the headlight. The SUV still runs fine. Someone stopped me in the Safeway parking lot today saying that he can fix the fender and the front lower grill. I made an excuse, I realy donn't have the money at this time of the month, also I don't trust strangers like that. If I can't fix it my self. I have a local repair shop that I trust do it.

I took a picture of the lower front grill, see attachment. How do I snap the lower front grill just under the front license plate back in place? I hope that I can avoid having to use solid wire to hold the grill in place. The wire will make the SUV trashey.

Looking at the picture I have no way of knowing how flexible the part is but it looks like pushing in and up would engage the clips if it is flexible. if not the grill surround has to be removed to reattach the lower part. Did you inquire with your insurance company concerning coverage and cost?

No I only have basic liability insurence. I ether fix it my self or pay someone to fix it.

Just push it back in. Should just clip in. Make sure the pins are in the holes though (the little plastic pieces sticking out). Same for the chrome piece. Will clip right in

Thanks for the info. But I will have to ether have my room mate or someone else to do the repairs. Right now I can barely get out of bed and carry my own weight. I over did it carrying a very heavy item by my self when I should have gotten help. I now have a slipped disk in my lower spine pressing on the main nerve going to my right leg.
