does anyone know how this solenoid is changed out My torqe converter sometimes won,t disengage and this controls it. I have never changed one and looking for help. How simple is this job?

transmission oil pan needs to come off, and the control valve needs to come out. this is not for the average back yard mechanic. there are little balls, shift valves (solenoids) myself i wouldn't even attempt it without someone who has done it before watching me or only a phone call away or something

This thing sits high up on the i guess you could call it a bell housing. or at least where you plug it in is. I took the wires loss the other day and the conection seam to turn about a quarter turn real easy but I turned it back I wasnt sure if it would come out that way or not or what all it was conected to. I cant really see it that good when I get time i will get a mirror and take some junk loose and take a better look.
