Hi everyone. I am new here, reason I joined this forum is because of a recent find. Long story short, family bought a house, and the last owner left behind a 1991 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. I will admit, I am more of a Japanese car fan and don't really know too much about American cars, but this Trans Am has really caught my eye. Currently I am trying to hunt down the last owner in hopes of finding the title to this car. For those that own this generation, what are some common problems or issues that are known with this generation? And for those that are mechanics, what's the first thing I should do with this car? Looking at it, I wanna say that it has sat for at least 10 years, considering the last inspection sticker on it was from December of 2004. I would guess that after that amount of time, everything has probably gone bad? Would love all the advice I can get. Thanks!

change all fluids, engine, transmission, rear, brakes, cooling system.
do not try to start it until you remove all spark plugs, squirt oil in the cylinders, turn the engine over by hand.
check with local police department concerning last ownership
