Jumped into my daughter's 1997 Sunfire (2.2L, auto). Battery light is on and ABS light comes on after putting into gear. Confirmed bad alternator. I'll replace it Wednesday. If they are not related where do I start with the ABS light?

Actually, they were related. I let them go to school in it Monday and it died right in front of the school. I really thought they could make it each way (1 mile) for 2 days. I put the alternator in this morning and had my neighbor try to jump me. NOTHING. Not even a click when turning the ignition or a dome light. I took the battery to AutoZone and it took almost 3 hours to charge. Back in and no lights even after driving it for 15 minutes.
