The AC on my 06 Montana was getting warm and the low side press was low. I added gas and got the press. up now the comp cycles on and off every 5 sec. and still not cold. Any ideas?

what is the high side pressure?

Don't know, my gauges are for R-12 so I just got the cheapie install kit with one gauge. It reads ans.round 40 when the comp runs.

It may need more freon , I know if the ambient temp is hot then your gauge will give you a false reading unless you compensate for it.

This gauge has an adjustable graphic that you set to the ambient temp. Its running at the high sidge of that. Im wondering if I have too much in it.

Vented gas out for about 4 seconds. Comp quit cycling, discharge temp is 40 degrees. Well see what tomorrow brings. Thanks for lookin guys.
