Acceleration question

I recently purchased a used 2008 Torrent GXP 3.6L with 68,000 kilometers. The first problem was a bad ignition coil which I replaced and yesterday the cat converter, under warranty. Anyway, I thought that with these repairs I would get better acceleration but am disappointed in performance, Can't really put my figure on it but for a vehicle that is supposed to do 0 to 60 in less than 7 secounds should have no hestitation when you stump it. I haven't taken it to my mechanis yet because I'm wondering if this is normal. BtW, I also have a '09 Charger with a 3.5L HO which has no accel problems. Any comments would be appreciated, thanks

have you checked for a dirty airfilter? You could also try replacing the fuel filter. I assume the check engine light is not on?

Thanks, I'll take a look at the filters tomorrow, and no, the engine light is no longer lit up. cheers Gord
