Accumulator assembly line on transmission loose

What kind of troubles would this cause?

When I say loose I mean one end is hanging down and dangling you can actually see through the line

The transmission would not function correctly, possible slipage or not shifting. You would be best to ask a transmission specialist if you need more specific details.

It was acting up like it would shift into 1st 2nd 3rd at the right rev points but would not go over 40 mph so I went to change the fluid and filter and noticed that the line was dangling.I'm just hoping that the line is the issue and not something else more serious.
