i am looking at buying a 2007 torrent. the cars without cruise are cheaper.. my question is can i add cruise to a car that didnt come with it? has anyone ever done this?
add cruise???

spend the extra money and get it already installed, do you realize how many components you would have to chase down at a junk yard and then try to install on the car not to mention computer compatibility

thats what i thought.... why would pontiac make cruise AN OPTION?! equinox's come standard with cruise. that is so stupid. if a car comes with POWER windows, locks standard and A/C STANDARD why not cruise? cruise consists of a button on the steering wheel, a elertic motor ( or vaccume motor ) hooked to the throttle body and the appropriate wiring harness and of course the computer to run it. what a piece of shit... im glad gm dis-continued pontiac.
FYI, equinox's didn't come stock with cruise, it was also an option.
I agree with above, there are way too many of these vehicles available on the market to start introducing retrofit options like cruise, just look for another vehicle, maybe consider other options also, difference in monthly payments will be very minimal, you won't regret it
