Ok so ive looked all over the internet and have found NOTHING about the problem I have. Yesterday, because i did not reaserch it, but i know now it was a bad mistake, i cut off my factory plug that goes in to the factory cd deck in my 2000 sunfire gt. I then just lined up all the right wires and soldered them together onto my brand new JVC cd deck. Then i realised: THERE IS NO SOUND UNLESS THE PINK ANTENNA POWER WIRE (which i thought had no purpose) IS TOUCHING A SPEAKER WIRE. So i went with that and i just soldered the wire onto a speaker wire and boom my sound worked just like that, until i started the car, and then the sound started fading out to being totally muted, to normal only when the song has loud parts. Its like that pink wire needs power or something to make all the speakers turn on! I dont get it! When i literally took a speaker out and put it right on my front seat and connected it to the deck, it works fine. But to just plug in the wires that go to the speakers in the car, which should be the same thing, nothing comes on unless the pink wire is touching a speaker wire, AND the sound fades in and out ! I hate this! about 10 hours have been wasted on this so far.

Also my radio reception is really bad and yes i did buy an adapter for the radio cord. I have an accessory power cable wired to the fuse box and its fine it turns on and off with the car. BASICALLY: All the cords from the new cd deck are wired to cords in the car, but!!!: there is still 1 pink wire, 2 purple wires, 1 grey wire, and 1 small black wire that is not the ground left hanging there! with nowhere to wire them too! Someone please just tell me what is going on with this
