air flow issues

Hi...I'm having a problem with my 2004 grand am. It doesn't matter which position i switch the air fan selector to(defrost, feet,dash..etc), the air just blows out of every vent. I have hot and cold air...the blower motor is working...I replaced the control panel all together. It's got to be something simple but I can't track it down. Any suggestions?:

when you replaced the control panel did you check the blend door function?

Hi...no i didn't...i haven't come across that in my researching it...how do I check that? thanks

Hi...thanks for the article...unfortunately it's not the problem. The temperature of the air is working perfect...I just cant direct it where I want it go....i.e. the floor, defrost...etc. Air just blows out of all the vents no matter what position the switch is at.

thats the blend door, systems may use more than one, one to control temperature and the other to control where the air goes
