thank you for your reply ,
the problem is : while driving my 2001 sunfire 2.2 engine
the anti- theft red pad lock came on with the yellow service light
and the engine is misfiring .

They may be totally unrelated. The anti-theft is on because there is a problem with the key or the key sensor in the ignition lock. The service engine light has to be scanned. Many auto parts stores such as Autozone will do a free scan.
