Anyone had car starting problems with 1999 Pontiac Grand...

...Am? The car starts like a champ and then after a couple of days it sounds as if it isn't going to start but does. Then after about 10 days, won't start. Leave it sit for several hours and it will start up with gusto. The whole cycle starts again. Been to a Pontiact dealer among others and they have no idea what the problem is.

Get the crankshaft position sensor checked. I'll bet you that is what it is. This happend to my 89 Cherokee, & my 92 Lumina Euro. It is not that expensive, just sometimes hard to get at. Good luck.
