Arrowhead origins

I am trying to do some research on the Arrowhead logo, specifically the 1960 year which appears to be one-year only design. (the image is attached)

There are some commonly found elements from this era (like the arrowhead shape itself –*pretty self explanatory) but others that are a mystery. For instance, there is something like a coat of arms on the back speaker and gas cap emblems.

If any one has any information on this I'd be really interested in knowing more about the meaning & origins of this mark. Specifically,...

–*What does the 4-pointed star found on the lower right quadrant signify?

–*What are the 5 marks in the indent and what do they represent?

–*What elements go in the top 2 quadrants?

scroll to the bottom of this link for a view of a similar emblem. The second link is the same as yours. There may not be anything missing from the top. Since Pontiac has an American Indian heritiage the stars and other markings may just be stylized elements a Pontiac designer came up with related to Indian heritage.
