1970 lemans runs good and shifts good, but the other day I was stopped and put it to the floor and it shifted before the motor really started to rev up wasn't looking at tach but I would guess it shift before even getting to 3k, is there a adjustment to raise it so it revs higher before it does?

You have a TH350 transmission.
That transmission has an adjustable cable on the throttle linkage.
With the engine off.
You release the cable lock, open the throttle by hand all the way and lock the cable.
