automatic to standard transition

im looking to change my automatic 2001 pontiac sunfire 2.2l 4 cyl nonecotec to a manual transmission. people i have talked to said its not extremely difficult, if someone could tell me the list of parts i would need to make this transition so i could start collecting them it would be a great help, thank you.

1. transmission with bellhousing and complete clutch and shifter.
2. clutch master and slave cylinder
3. clutch pedal assembly

thnk you man tht helps a lot, would you know somewhere i can buy these things new or should i try my luck at junk yards?

If you have lots of money you can try buying them new at www.gmpartsdirect.com but in most cases the junkyard makes more sense. Sometimes buying a complete donor car may be the way to go.
