Auxilliary oil pressure gauge?

The instrument pod on this '91 LE has about two working gauges. Temp one is inop. I've mounted a temp and an oil pressure instrument in a separate plate, MacGyvered in down where the cassette player lived originally. Only problem is locating a place on the engine to put the sender. Must keep the original sender for the ECM to read, no real room at that location for the sender, as it would stick out so far it will be IN the cooling fan anyway.
 
Ive made the same thing out of a chunk of aluminum , a drill and a NPT tap.

If you have the 2.0 , there are other oil ports on the block near the the factory sensor or you can run a brass T in junction with the factory sending unit.

I would recommend copper feed line instead of the nylon stuff if you use a mechainical guage.
