AWD Montana, Yay or Nay?

I never thought I'd own a minivan but being in one the room is amazing, and the Montana looks great. My problem is the AWD are rare! Is it worth it? I want to drive it down some dirt roads. Can the AWD handle it? I can be a little tough with cars. Should I just settle for FWD? I would think the AWD handles better in all conditions. Let me know, thanks.

AWD in the Montana is intended for conditions such as snow. The Montana is not an off road vehicle like a Jeep, etc.
