my son has a 1990 Formula Firebird with a 305 engine. His auxiliary fan has stopped working. We know the fan is still good (we provided 12v directly to it and it ran fan) The repair manual shows a relay as part of the circuit and we suspect it went bad. The problem is that the book doesn't show where it is located and we can't find it. Does anyone know where this relay is located?

If you have an owners manual it shows the fuse boxes. The oldest I can post is from a 93 Camaro, look at page 278, shows the fuse and relay may be similar to yours

On my '88, the fan relays are on the radiator support. Not sure if yours is the same.
