I'm new to the forum and looking for some advice. I have a 2003 Aztek AWD. I've owned it for the past year, and since the day I bought it, it's been losing antifreeze, and I have to fill the reservoir every two weeks or so. I thought I had finally diagnosed it down to the radiator cap having lost its gasket. I replaced the radiator cap, and I'm still losing antifreeze, slower now thankfully, but not completely stopped.
The radiator is dry, with no oily spots on it at all. I've checked all the lines, and everything looks fine, not sticky or wet.
It's not the head gasket because I'm so paranoid that it is that I'm checking the oil daily, and the oils clean. I have nothing coming out of the tail pipe either.
I noticed about a month ago that the driver side floor is damp, but the passengers side is dry as a bone. Everything I've read, and from my personal experience tells me that if it was the Core than it would be soaked on the passengers side. I'm seriously at a loss.
I'm almost sure that it's two separate problems, but maybe someone here has had the same experience. From what I'm learning, Azteks are a breed of their own, and everything is different from anything else I've worked on.
