back spark plugs are a pain to change.

i can get to the front one easy enough but the back one are a little difficult. if i take the front dogbones out will the motor rotate far enough to get the back ones and what plugs do you recomend. this van is new to me and i want to start fresh, new plugs, wires, oil, filters, thermostat,ect.

Lots of videos on youtube on how to do this. They all remove the front dogbones and move the engine forward about 3 inches. Using a mirror will help you find the plugs and wires in the back.

Yesterday I changed the back spark plug cables (this time spark plugs where not changed). Not was necessary rotate engine neither remove dogbones (save time)

Just label 6 terminal cables at ignition coils before remove. You should remove: a side of the vacuum power brake hose, MAP sensor, then the ignition coils pack. Put a big thick carton over the engine because most you will work lying on top of it

I always wondered what the exhaust pipe was doing when you tilt the engine 3 inches.
