Battery cable connections

Where do the positive and negative battery cable connect? I hit something on the interstate today on the way to work and it ripped them in half. I'm on the way to get new one but can't remember where they connect on the engine side. Please help I'm about 40 miles from home and have to get it fix to get home.

Typically the positive cable connects to the starter solenoid. The exact location of the ground I dont know but would think you could see it hanging under the car from the point where it was damaged.

negative broke the fitting in half. if i can't find it I'll just. take it to the engine mount
