I checked the wires and they are well connected, i can charge the battery and drive for 3 hours, then its on again. The alternator is brand new.

the battery may not be holding a charge. also just because parts are new doesn't mean they're good. take it to a shop and have them tested. most shops will check it for free.

I can think of several conditions that could play into this and a belt slipping comes to mind as one of them, another is the cables for your battery may need replacing. a bad cable can reduce the ammount of current flowing back to the batterys and would cause signal issues into the diognostic system like you are describing.dont hesitate to go to my free web page www.mycarandineedhelp.com and contact me if you want to discuss the car further.
