Best gear ration for drag racing

New to the site. I have a 1970 Lemans sport that I have been drag racing and have been running Mid 12's in 1/4 mile. I current have a 12 bolt posi with 3:08 gears. Looking for the gear ratio for my set up. Motor is a healthy 455 with hyd roller cam shaft E heads out of the box 8:50 holly. Motor pulls past 5500 RPM. TH 400 2800 stall converter MT drag radials. Goal for 2018 would be to get into 11's.

Recommendations on best gear for this set up.

what engine speed do you currently see at the end of the 1/4 mile and compare that to the maximum RPM your engine safely goes to and still produces power. You ideally want the gearing that hits that RPM number. So if you now hit 4,000 at the end what gear will get you to say 5,000 at the end with whatever size rear tires you are using?
