I am interested in hearing if this car with a Ferrari engine was built with GM's money or Mitchell's private money since it has ended up in the Heritage Center.
It seems like in the past some of the cars ended up with him, maybe the less modified ones. At any rate I heard this had a 3.3 Ferrari V12 then went to a 4.5 liter Daytona engine. What car was the 3.3 out of, a 330?
Also if it had a Daytona 5-speed transaxle installed, was that long after it was built or was that installed by GM? I hav eseen the Motor Trend Classic story, it does not answer these questions.
