"brake" light and "abs" light come on at the same time, but not all the time

1998 sunfrie. Soem times when i get in the car and the abs and brake light stay on till i shut the car off and start it again. It does not do it all of the time, i would say 40% of the time the abs and brake light are on? I have tried to get codes out but nothing was coming up. Car is at dealer now for 2 recalls. I will get it back tomorrow and try to scan for codes again. thanks

Have you tried testing the speed sensor's on each wheel?

what system are you scanning? if it's at the dealer why arent they scanning your ABS system?

how do i test wheel speed sensors? i will try to scan again today and scan abs. i will post what i find out
