I have a 06 torrent. I replaced the brake pads a few months back and still got an awful screetch sound. So a few months after that I replaced the rotors as well as new brake pads. I bled the brakes and replaced new calipers and lubed everything. I used brake cleaner and still have a bad squeeks at low speeds. At highway speed when you start to slow down the steering wheel seems to shake for about 3-6 seconds before slowing down to low speeds and then sqeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek! till it stops. We have new tires that were put on about 1 year ago and have had multiple alignment jobs done. Any suggestions?

did you try using some of the anti squeek items availabe from parts stores such as

The shake is either because you have a worn steering part such as a tie rod end or you have a warped brake rotor or possible loose wheel bearing.

Yeah I tried using some brake products. I thought maybe a warped rotor but i replaced both sides and still shakes. So I may have a steering problem. Would that also affect the rotor and brakes enough to squeak while stopping?

No loose steering parts will not cause the squeak.

Did you use the cheap pads. Sometimes they will make noise.
