Brakes will lock up when applied ABS light on

Hi,
My daughter ABS light is on and the rear right brakes will lock up when applied.

any idea of what can cause that,

If the car has sat for a couple of days the back brakes could be rusty causing them to grab. If you apply the brakes a couple of times in might go away. If not you have a bigger problem.
 
srry about my english, I hear about that when you pass trough water the breaks block, same when you pass trough water and you let the car stop for long time, the brakes stick, i hope this help you,
 
none of those reasons would cause the abs light to stay on, the abs is not working which causes the rears to lock as opposed to pulsate when the abs is working. take it somewhere to find the out what is wrong with the abs system
