Hi,

Does anyone know how the little tabs that are on the brass horn ring should be positioned? Are the tabs supposed to be at a 90% angle to the ring?

I sure could use a photo of the brass horn ring to see what it looks like! Does anyone know where I could get a photo of that part??

I had the clicking problem on my 2004 Grand Am. I took out the multiswitch but when reinstalling I forgot to push the horn pin in. The brass ring got bent. Now the horn blows constantly. I had to remove the fuse.

I sure could use some help with this brass ring. The clicking is gone...but now there's no horn!! I replaced one problem with another. Aaaarrrgghh!

Thanks! Melissa in San Diego

Multifunction Switch Horn Pin

Is the horn pin that protrudes from the multifunction switch supposed to always be touching the brass ring? or should there be a gap between them?

How far should the pin stick out from the multifunction switch?

I was able to get the prongs on the brass ring positioned correctly, I think, but I can't get the horn to stop blowing!!

What have I done wrong!
