Looking at buying a '68 Firebird 400. The guy says it's original and numbers matching from pictures looks in excellent condition inside and out and has 62,000km, haven't had a chance to get down to see it yet. If what he says is true, what is the round about value of this car?

Your not giving enough information, coupe or convertible, 4 speed or automatic, has a/c or doesnt have a/c, general condition of the car, etc.. Looking at www.collectorcarmarket.com a rough low number is $10,700. Make sure you check all the engine codes and the trani if he wants matching numbers dollars.

X2, Need more info, pics would help. A true original with good documentation could be worth over $40,000 But condition is everything, as is true numbers matching. Do your homework, if your unsure about what to look for hire someone to go with you to look at it. Could be well worth the money. Post some pics and i'm sure several on this site can tell you if something been changed or not. Good luck!!
