I'm thinking of buying a used 2005 Pontiac Sunfire Sedan from a private seller. It only has 30,000 miles. The car is in perfect condition, in and out, but when I test drove it, the brake pedal felt as if it doesn't want to move very far (resists a bit), and it felt kind of firm??
The owner said he put new brakes in the front, about 3 months ago, and that the car hasn't been driven much for that time (he bought a new Mazda).
Would that be normal for this kind of car? I know Pontiac Sunfire is a low-end car, but I really like it, and it looks brand new. The owner wants $5000 for it (certification and emission test included).
What do you think?
