buying a pontiac firebird

Hello everybody,

I'm french, I hope you'll understand my english grammar :-)
Well, since 20yo, I dream of buying a pontiac firebird or trans am, 3rd generation.
Ok i'm a k2000 fan, but I do not want to transform the car.
I just love the shape, the V8, the power etc.
SO. Since I want a week end car, both for sporty or soft road, I would like my pontiac like this
- a V8. a lot of V6 in Europe..
- a manual transmission - very hard to find.

I found one near Paris. Could I have your advices of what you see/ read on this sell, especially the engine:

I dont recogize this engine block. I thought pontiac V8 engine was this:

Import cars companies prefer to import 50000€ mustang cars, so I guess they don't care about my project, too small for them.

At first, thank you for your answer.

OK I understand for the engine.
The car is at 7500€ for 110000km. I think I can negociate the price.
Is it, from your experience, a nice operation if I go to negociate this car?
Maybe I should wait for another firebird or transam V8 manual, the 2 main options I want

I know nothing about prices in the European market. The advertisement shows only three pictures so I can tell very little about the condition of the car. If you have a friend who has experience with an American car I recommend that they go with you when you look at the car. Bon chance.
