Calling fellow mechanics and Car Repair Buffs FireBird V8 Wont kickover?

I have a 1984 Firebird Trans Am 305 V8 404 Turbo Tranny Double BarrelI Carb with stock butterfly flaps her names adrian do my own repairs and know alot about cars so dont give me b.s answers or guesses It Runs When Its Hot Juss fine but i turned it off one day now it wont turnover it cranks trys like hell but wont start Im going to put a little gas in the carb tommorow to try to see if itll start so i know if its a fuel problem if it does start.but if it dosent then I know it could be the sparks plugs and the distributor and such but i wanna know if anyone has any other opinions are there common thing that go out on this model year that I should know about I wanna get my baby kickin again I love her like no other
p.s it does not stall or have idling problems

lmao. i doubt you have any of that under your car because if you say you know about cars, im sure you could have figured it out very soon. lmao you probably ran out of gas and dont know it.

so if i ask you for common.... then you can explain everything about chevy's to me even though i just told you i know eveything and you don't have to give me any info. ? = / + pull the cap and see if the little tab in the middle is worn. kick that

pull a plug wire from a plug, insert a screw driver and hold the metal shaft of the screwdriver near a metal surface, see if when cranking you get a spark to jump from the screwdriver to the metal surface you are using as a ground, if you dont then you know you have an ignition problem
