Camshaft and Crankshaft position sensors bad???

I am told that both my Crankshaft and Camshaft sensors are bad and need to be replaced. Is this possible? Vehicle works fine. I guess I need to buy a code reader, California doesn't allow AutoZone to give a hand with code reading. If this is possible, could someone give some advice on the R & R, please. Thanks in advance for any and all help. Tom.

Not sure what your problems are but I have read numerous posts about these sensors on our engines and other engines and alot of problems are wiring issues like broken or melted or shorted wires, masking a bad or unresponsive sensor(s).
