I can not find a spot for more than one pipe to go over the axle. Does anyone know for positive if you can put a true dual system on my car that still exits at the stock location. It is the same under-body as an 1982-1986ish firebird and comaro. (at least I'm pretty sure the comaro's have the same torque arm and rear suspension setup)
Yes, the cars do have dual rear exits, but it is not a true dual system. I am installing a 400 HP 350 cu' chevy inplace of a 195 HP 305 cu'. I need more airflow or I am going to be choking my car and loosing power.

I know of a girl that had a 1985 firebird and she had pipes running out from both rear side's of the cars. For some reason i'm thanking that they had dual pipes on they V8 engine's & the 6 cylinders came with a single pipe. I could be thanking of another car ,so want on some other answers ,before you just go by want i've told you.

Did you check Summitracing?
I'm sure someone makes it, cause I had one on my 89 TA

It can be done , but not worth it.

It has been done in the stock location. Check out the exhaust section at thirdgen.org. At that power level, a 3" single would be more than enough.
