Is it at all possible to say get the lower and upper intakes from say a supercharged buick and get a new belt and stuff and put them on a 96 3800 Firebird?
no, the engine is transverse mounted on the buick but it is longitudinal monted on the bird. It could bolt up to the engine, but it would not fit into the car. the engine is too far back so even modifying the hood wont help. You can connect a turbo kit, it can be put beside the engine.
