Can't get hubcaps to fit

On my 67 Pontiac Catalina I bought a set of 14x6 wheels off of a 68 Buick delta 88 and my Pontiac hubcaps won't fit on them. Am I doing it wrong or does Pontiac hubcaps not go on Buick wheels even though both gm and both same size?

Buick and Pontiac were two different divisions of GM so unless you can look up the part numbers for both wheels and they happen to be the same I would not assume anything.
Are you using a rubber mallet to install the hub caps?

Yes I am using a rubber mallet. Thank you for your reply il try to find the part number somehow

I meant to put Oldsmobile not Buick. My mechanic told me the hubcaps I have are 15 inch not 14. The part numbers on the wheels from both cars are the same so any 14 inch hubcaps I get from 67-68 Pontiac should fit correctly I assume sense the part numbers are the same right? And I appreciate your help!

Any GM 14" hubcap will fit you wheels as long they are just stock steel wheels.
The only problem you may run into is valve stem length.

If its a Rally wheel then no..........................
